If you live anywhere near where Hebert and I do, then you might want to pay attention. Immaculate Conception Parish is hosting their 1st Annual Microbrew Beerfest & Silent Auction in Elkton, MD.

This event should be a pretty good one - the people putting it on are totally awesome and know their beers pretty well. So, if you live anywhere around Elkton, MD then come on down and have yourself a good time. There won’t be any NFL games on that day so you have no excuse not to!
Too bad it’s the same day as the Oktoberfest at Iron Hill in Phoenixville. I live in Phoenixville, so distance wins in this case, but I usually pass through Elkton on my way to Kent Narrows, Md on weekends, so maybe next year.
Yeah I have to do double duty that day. Sucks because I’ll only be able to have a couple before I eat and then maybe drive to Phoenixville. I’m torn between the two
It’s also the Appalachian Brewing Company brew fest in Harrisburg… which is a manageable drive, there, anyhow.

BAD NEWS: some things have not lined up with some other things and the ICS Beerfest has been postponed or canceled or whatever you want to call it, it’s not happening!
